NGS Recommends Fixed Leg Tripods

The National Geodetic Survey, the nations positioning agency, has been directed by Congress to implement a Height Modernization Program throughout the country. The basis for this program is to establish a very accurate vertical measurement system. Height Modernization supports the five mission goals as outlined in NOAA’s Strategic Plan.
