We had mentioned in an earlier post about their business model and how a few wisely positioned words could lead their customers astray. Stakemill has been cutting wood stakes since the mid 70′s and boy have things changed. We all are looking for newer methods, production equipment and streamlining the entire operation, but to base our business model on a short-lived product would be like building a business around the current number one song on the radio, short-lived.

This new product for Surveyors and Contractors allows you to set up a total station, scanner, laser or level in a building, refinery, along a railway or on a bridge without the need for a tripod. The Cantilever Column-Pod attaches to any size stable steel, concrete or wood column using the included endless loop ratchet strap. The Cantilever Column Pod allows the instrument to be set up over a point in the general area of the column using a sliding and swiveling platform base. It can securely support up to 40 pounds but weighs only 13 pounds without the ratchet strap.

Will attach to any square, round or I-Beam column of steel, concrete or wood.

Ideal for use in refineries, bridges or multi-story buildings before the floor deck is poured. Great for checking condominium elevator shafts.
